Wood grain mouse pad

I ordered the wenge, light wood and rosewood board and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and colors. Absolutely beautiful! Lays perfectly flat with no wrinkles. I plan on ordered a 2nd one to keep at home in pristine condition, the other for travel. Try this board, you won’t be disappointed.

Cool variety!

I really like the simulated wood mousepad boards! What a nice change from the standard solid colored squares. Nice to have an illusion of a wood board when you can’t or don’t want to haul your real wood board out. A great and fun change! High quality as well! 2.25 in. sq.

Even better than expected!

Arrived with a couple creases from shipping; the creases smoothed out almost immediately after rolling it out. The board lies totally flat now. The wenge, lightwood, and rosewood pattern is lovely. I expected the wood squares to be printed identically but they're all distinct, giving it a very real look. I was also concerned that the felted bottoms of my WE Ultimates would pull or drag on the fabric surface, but they don't. I tried some old pieces with torn-up felted paper bottoms, and even they slide smoothly without catching. The coordinates in contrasting color along the border stand out and are easy to read even for someone with eyes as bad as mine. Definitely a solid purchase!

Elegant and soothing-looking board

I recently purchase a set of Euro Series chess pieces and wanted a board that matched the wood looks of the pieces. After much tinkering I went for the Walnut & Maple board. I was a bit disappointed when I received it because the dark squares are slightly lighter than in the picture, but after I placed the pieces on it I realized it was their perfect companion. The dark pieces on my set are very dark, and the lighter dark squares of the board make for a very nice contrast that allow my eyes to rest while playing. I played my first game on it last night and I was very glad with the overall appearance of the set (pieces + board) and how my eyes felt during the game. Quality is top notch!
