American Chess Equipment, LLC has been a provider of chess sets, chess boards, chess pieces, and chess clocks,as well as travel and magnetic chess sets over the last 27 years. Dewain Barber started his business when he needed chess equipment for his school chess club. The best quantity discount he could get on chess equipment was 10% off. This inspired him to buy a large quantity of chess sets and sell them to other chess coaches at his cost. His business grew and developed from there.

Dewain sponsors two free chess tounaments every year: the Morrison Scholastic (February 22, 2010) and the Staser Fall Scholastic (November 20, 2010). He also provides prizes for the USCF Denker Tournament of High School Champions.

RETURN POLICY:

DAMAGED PRODUCTS

We strive to ensure that your order is inspected and packed properly for shipping. If your order arrives damaged, contact us immediatedly by e-mail or phone. Once we reply, we will then have you ship the damaged portion of the order back to us; and upon receipt, we will replace it and reimburse you for reasonable shipping fees. We will then send the replacement at no additional expense to you.

UNSATISFIED

If you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason, contact us by phone or e-mail. After we reply, we will have you ship the order back to us within 30 days from the date of the order. You will receive a full refund less shipping charges.

NOTE: Any items returned after 30 days are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Returns are not accepted after 60 days.
