The Chronos digital chess clock has over 70 time control settings and is one of the most widely used chess timers by tournament chess players. Batteries and operating manual are included.

NOTE: Current BLACK stock is being sold with the understanding that the BLACK TOUCH model has an obscure software error that affects only a small number of players that might access the mode. It is estimated that late 2009 new stock will have upgraded circuit boards without this symptom. The clock, when turned on in user-defined modes 9-12 is locked with a "total" display. This means that certain presets cannot be saved and accessed in presets 9-12. The first 8 presets are fully functional. We will continue to sell the clock with the understanding that this phenomena is present. The clock manufacturer is US based with a nearly perfect record. The company is small, and no official replacement terms are given, since the software glitch is minor and rarely, if ever, encountered.
